Meet the artists!

Here at the maxx tattoo studio we have three extremely talented artists , Dean our founder artist is a multi award winning tattoo artist who specialises in portraits and black and grey work. Dean has many years experience and enjoys a long list of international and national clientel and is regularly featured in Skin Deep Skin Shots and Total Tattoo magazines. Dean produces a multitude of different styles of art but is never more comfortable than being given free range to produce a custom piece for his clients.

Alex is a wonderful european artist who has a fresh approach to a traditional art form. His ability to transform the ordinary into the extraodinary is a thing to see. Alex's extensive education in the art world has enabled him to think outside of the box and the results are stunning. No matter how simple the tattoo Alex will amaze with his interpretation.

Shannon is our youngest team member but don't let the years fool you, not only is she from artistic stock but she continued that passion independently at art collage and went on to be mentored here at the maxx. Shannon is an accomplished artist who enjoyes all types of tattoo art. She has a real new skool feel to her work but is equally at home with those whimsical swirls and is second to none when it comes to her font work. Shannon is a very talented artist who is more than happy to design a piece for her clients or embellish a piece they had given up on.
